Basic smartphone photography course in Modena - June and July 2023
The smartphone photography course takes place in the classroom and outdoors in Modena.
The aim of the course is to discover and learn the basic techniques of photography, moving from simple enthusiasts to aware photographers by discovering the basic rules and the countless functions of the phone for taking photos that are not amateurish.
With our phone we can take photos for social media, for the products to be put on our e-commerce site or on any other sales platform or marketplace.
Used the right way, our phone lets us take optimised, moving, striking photos to promote our business.

- Introduction: Photography as a passion or as a job? Let's explore all its fields.
- The smartphone as a tool for professional photographs.
- Which smartphone to choose and why.
- Basics: the rule of thirds, framing and composition. With practical exercises.
- Handling aperture, light meter and sensitivity on the phone.
- Depth of field.
- Aperture priority (diaphragm) with practical exercises.
- Exposure priority (shutter speed) with practical exercises
- Review and comparison of the shots taken: common mistakes, how and what to improve.
- Photo formats and resolutions: saving and storing locally and in the cloud
- Post-production (an introduction): what can be done in post-production.
- Getting ready for the Paris workshop: what to bring, what to plan for. Photographic themes and genres.
DATES OF THE SMARTPHONE PHOTO COURSE IN MODENA
The course in Modena runs over 8 lessons of 2.5 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:30, both in June and in July.

A smartphone of any brand or model.
COST
Cost of the basic Photography course in Modena: 290€.
COURSE BOOKING
Number of participants: minimum 6, maximum 16.
