Presented at the Festival di Cannes on 11 July 2021
A series of events will radically change the lives of the residents of a Roman apartment block, revealing their difficulties in being parents, siblings or neighbours, in a world where living side by side seems to be governed by fear and resentment.
While the men are imprisoned by their own stubbornness, the women, each in her own way, try to mend these fragmented lives so as to pass on at last, and serenely, a love that was believed lost forever.
