I am an atypical photographer: I was born with analog photography, I developed and printed in the dark room in the 80s in Paris, where I lived for years.
There I was lucky enough to photograph countless live concerts and then, when I arrived in Modena, Italy, car rallies and again, concerts.
They were exciting and "study" years: each photo cost, it had to be thought out, studied and finally made.
In the meantime I graduated and I did many other things in completely different fields: Erotica, the erotic salon in '92, '93 and '94. Eroticism in photography, cinema, comics, literature, advertising, food, etc.
I have dedicated myself to organizing events.
In the meantime my book "Parigi Sotterranea" was released, born from my degree thesis in Methodology of historical research in Political Sciences with hundreds of color and black and white photos developed and printed in the dark room.
The Catacombs of Paris: another fantastic training ground for taking pictures in the dark and in very difficult conditions.
Then came digital photography and after an initial curiosity and enthusiasm, when I saw that models and cameras multiplied, all in the direction of simplifying the creative process ... I detached myself. I abandoned it.
My professional activities have gone towards publishing and communication.
Then my daughter was born and that was my most important creation to which I dedicated every moment and thought: and it was an "investment" that paid off: in 2018 for her and with her I went to the concert of a very young artist (Ultimo, in Milano, Santeria Social Club 19/01/2018) with a new camera that had a new feature ... it was digital, of course, but unlike all current cameras, it had and has all the dials of yesteryear , that of the ISO, that of the exposure meter and the aperture on the lens!
So I returned to Professional Photography, taking advantage of the fantastic features of Fujifilm cameras, with the X-T3 the X-T4 and many extraordinary lenses and zoom.
So I went back to work in photography, with many, beautiful experiences: again live concerts, events but also stage photos on Theater, photographer accredited at the Venice, Rome and Berlin Film Festivals for Cineuropa.
